Border Posts Project

North American World Trade formed a consortium "EUROSTOP" with GLJ International, Denslow, Shaffer & Co., Dixie and Renner Architects. The Romanian partner in the Feasibility Study was AMOCO Romania Co. and Romanian engineering company S.C. IPTANA S.A., together the consortium performed the study for a modern, full-service travel centers for cars, buses and trucks at the five most traveled border crossings in Romania. The feasibility study was sponsored by the Trade Development Agency (TDA). 

EUROSTOP would eliminate congestion problems, capture business from vehicles waiting to be processed, integrate the travel center parking area into a modern, efficient, and computerized customs processing system.   The consortium planned to develop a highway version of shopping centers found at international airports, capturing the major share of the trans-European traffic of passenger car, tourist buses and merchandise trucks.

Landfill Gas Project 
Electricity Generation

Together with Power Management Corp. and Maguire Group, North American World Trade in cooperation with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), was awarded a grant to conduct a Feasibility Study for a Landfill Gas/Electricity Generation in Romania. 

For the Landfill Gas Project, our team was successful in obtaining the first grant ever approved for Romania bu USAID. The project is a waste-to-energy environmental project, in which methane gas is to be removed from a Bucharest landfill, and then burned to generate electricity. 

Electrical Co-Generation
Urea Project

North American World Trade introduced Solar Turbines to different Romanian potential customers in the electrical cogeneration field, and prepared a study report, including several projects to be evaluated by CAT Power Venture for future consideration.

North American World Trade worked with Energy Transportation Group and German fertilizer trading company HELM HmB on urea transactions, exporting the product from Romania to a local import fertilizer company in China. 



Together with EXECUTONE Information System, North American World Trade sold telecommunication PBX systems to Electromagnetica and other Romanian counterparts.

Together with Myers & Aplex Industrial Pump Division, North American World Trade sold U.S. industrial equipment to           S.C. CONDMAG S.A. and FlowTex Service Romania. In addition, our team assisted Romanian companies Comoti S.A. and Transgaz along with Switzerland's TumaTurboMach S.A. with procurement parts for industrial gas turbine parts.
