NAWT: YOUR PARTNER IN POWER PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

The international market for power generation capacity continues to grow. In the past, in Romania it was difficult to find the resources to finance and rehabilitate existing power plants and/or construct new power generation capacity. Romania now welcomes the international entrepreneur and developer to develop new generation capacity.

NAWT's knowledge and experience in the Romanian environmental business and local culture, understands that it can be an important partner and asset to provide assistance reliably and efficiently in communication problems, which can create long delays on projects, very high costs, and a lack of understanding of requirements for successful development of independent power projects.

NAWT evaluates power project opportunities and identifies potential issues, concerns, risks, and rewards. NAWT conduct a thorough due diligence review of each project opportunity and prepares reports.

NAWT introduced Solar Turbines to different Romanian potential customers in the electrical co-generation field and prepared a report study, including several projects to be evaluated by CAT Power Venture for future consideration.

NAWT: YOUR PARTNER IN WOOD MANUFACTURING

Currently, NAWT is part of a joint venture: S.C. WOODMASTER S.A., that is looking for an equity investor to help develop a solid wood element factory for the manufacturing of ecological furniture and houses.

Through its investment S.C. WOODMASTER S.A. intends to organize as a manufacturing and processing facility for timber related products such as jointed wood panels, wooden elements for houses and semifabricate for ecological furniture. The new production facility will make use of up to date log conversion technology to produce 18.160 m3/year (62% beech, 38% soft wood) from its manufacturing lines of which 2.000 m3/an (75% beech and 25% soft wood) will be jointed wood panels, 2374 m3/an will be wooden laminated beams for houses and 1500 m3/year for furniture semifabricates.

The economic opportunities for the investment project rest in the inherent advantages of available local, high-quality raw material, labor force availability at reduced cost, and the fact that the site already has existing buildings as well as utility sources, which with relatively low costs can be transformed into the required production facilities. This conversion scheme will considerably reduce the financial cost of project implementation. The existing site buildings and utility are contributions of S.C. Wood Master S.A.

The facility will be organized to perform all of the specific lumber related activities which are necessary. Starting from the raw material stocking yard, log yard, followed by debarking of the logs, log conversion in timbers, steaming, grading, seasoning of the timber, kiln drying, timber processing in planed assortment and finally by packaging and delivery. Modernization of infrastructure and utility sources and feeds will be accomplished with planned future growth potential. By implementing modern manufacturing technologies in compliance with a unitary technical solution and engineering approach, production should result in profitability.

For economical and financial assessment of the investment, the present Feasibility Study has been performed by INL Sucursala Brasov. Analysis of technical documentation and the proposed adopted technical solutions was considered in setting any specific investment projections and or proposed results. It was understood that the methodology and execution of this study would provide the necessary technical data and illumination required to form a long term investment decision.
